Хотя песни альбома и не являются чем-то особенно новаторским, но во время звуко записи в студии Битлз открывали для себя новую технику исполнения и экспериментировали с комбинациями инструментов.
Так, например, в своей композиции 'Another Girl' Пол Маккартни сыграл на соло-гитаре, так же как и в 'Ticket To Ride', записанной в тот же день.
Возмущение Джорджа Харрисона относительно его уменьшающейся роли в записи альбомов было несколько развеяно тем фактом, что третья по счету композиция, записанная тогда же, была его сочинением.
